And that's a sustainment diet.

It's not hard to keep a couple of chooks and have a few herbs and  
veggies. We grow herbs, tomatoes and jalapenos (and a pitcher plant)  
on a tiny balcony.

That can be enough to turn a sustainment diet into a healthy one.
