MY feeling is that John based his feeling on simple desire. The desire we ALL feel, to dismiss our enemies with contempt. How much better to picture MoveOn as anorganization run by imbecilles who are stupid enough to deliberately post something that would make them look bad to everybody! How comforting an image. Never for a moment consider the reverse idea, that the "hitler images" were sent in by gopper provocateurs with exactly this scenario in mind. Sound silly? Well the GOP has done similar things in every single freaking election, from sabotaging Edmund Muskie to the dirty tricks squads of Donald Segretti. And yes, I do something similar.
