Ahem. The governor of Arkansas, the Chief Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court, Jim McDougal, and others were all found guilty. Moreover, Bill Clinton was found to be in contempt of court, and nobody serious argues that he committed perjury. Let's see, the President of the United States took an oath to "tell the whole truth" - under the auspices of a law which he signed with his own hand I might add - and then unarguably broke that same oath. I find it very difficult to believe that this is self-evidently a trivial matter, especially given that as President of the United States Bill Clinton was required to take a similar oath to uphold that Constitution of the United States.
