My system has 2mm holes in a plastic bucket. I didn't bother to cut the bottom out of the inside bucket, just stakcet two of them. I did drill a gadzillion of holes, so that the distance between the holes is comparable to the diameter of them. In other words, as many holes as you can possibly fit in the surface. No, I did not measure and position them carefully, I just put a 2mm bit in a small proxxon, turned the speed to max, and bounced my hand up and down in irregular patterns. Didn't take too long.
