This has been discussed on this list several times. I hesitate to give
adivce, as I have not done much of that myself (still a bit paranoid
after my bout with infected beers).

I guess you can make any sort of beer with it, as long as the type of
yeast suits the style. You may bring a little hint of the previous style
into your new beer. Should be quite harmless, unless you want to brew a
very pale ale from a yeast left behind from a very black porter...

Nice idea. Next you get tired of washing those too, and get hold of
those 5 liter party kegs. After that it will be (Cornelius) kegs, and
finally, your own storage tanks :-)
