Yes but you're talking a large Ford D Series 6 cylinder engine IIRC there Julian, something that was designed to drive a truck. We're (George is) talking a small(ish) 4 cyl industrial engine. Also, can you categorically state what type of use you previous engine was subject to by the pervious owner? For example, if he 'only' used it at low revs/load for battery charging and never really got the boat moving anywhere in between time to load the engine then of course it was liable to glaze. Roger
