I use the "mid" size Maglite, the one that uses "C" cells. Has an adjustable
beam, dern near unbreakable and just plain "works fine...lasts along time". And
only a couple of bucks more than the "Eveready" type plastic cheapies.

  List

I am venturing out with a group for some night sailing this weekend. Knowing
that I will probably need some light to spot crab pots, light up sails, etc. I
am interested in knowing what you are using for those times you need a hand
held bright light. I have the typical flashlights. Not really interested in
spending a lot for such a device. Any information would be appreciated.
