Hi Matt, I have the same setup as Proctor Labs for the R&S Lab, I have 16 devices in total, (it is my home lab) they all work perfectly with the same cable, they work with the console cables from the Access Server. Sometimes when it doesn't work from the AS, I type "show line" and I see the line is busy, I kill the line with the "clear line x" command and ready to go but not this time. This time I plugged a serial cable straight to the console port because I thought, it is gonna work, I saw all the normal booting process in my screen and I said "stupid AS" but when it saw - press RETURN to get started - Bum, big surprise, it didn't work with the serial cable. I don't know what else to do, It is not worthy to buy another one because the switch is working and we can say the console port is working in somehow as well because is sending information out of it to my display, as I said before, if I plug any cable to any fastethernet I still can see the message, int x/x is up. My studies are totally stuck thanks to it. Any other work around? Thanks, Wilberth
