Anybody remember Robert Heinlein's "Stranger in a Strange Land" from the
late 60's?
Mike decided jails were bad.
So he "examined" the prisoners.
The "safe" ones he let go.
The violent ones simply disappeared, never to harm society again.
Hmmmmmmmmm.
