If the optical nerve was severed kiss all eyesight good bye. If all that
happened was the eyeball lifted outside the socket wall and "bulged" out...
The eye can usually be massaged back into the socket and pain meds can be
given cuz it hurts like hell! Hopefully that other dog will learn that if it
can run with the big dogs, stay on the porch! :-)
