It's pretty funny - when he decided to run for President, the charity
giving goes up like 300%.  Of course, realistically, you can't run for
major office without at least pretending to be altrusitic.  You likely
won't find Kerry not giving to charity (or, at least, not claiming it on
his tax return) at any point in his major political career.  I could be
wrong, but it would be surprising.
