You know, I was just thinking about this the other day. My son has all
sorts of stuffed toys and dolls and such. The duck is "duck." The baby
is "baby." The horse is "horse." Etc. I went over to a friends and
every thing there was named (not that I remember any of the names).
So, I got to thinking - are we weird? We haven't given any of his
things names.

I hadn't thought of it in terms of Eastern/Western philosophies. But,
we are much more "let it be" than the neighbors. Hm.... maybe we're
more zen than we knew. ;) Of course, my inital thought was that we're
bad parents who don't engender enough tender caring to even bother
giving his toys names! :P
