Rove said Cooper called about welfare reform and Cooper denied it. The e-mail backed up Rove. If Rove said he didn't fall for the Niger bait but told Cooper not to get Time too deep into the story. He wasn't smearing he was giving him a courtesy warning. Now I'm not saying if that warning was legal or ethical, just saying he didn't call the press to smear her. At least it doesn't seem that way so far. I just don't understand why people are so sure either he or Scooter is guilty.
