Yes I believe in minimal government intrusion, not no intrusion at all.

so wait. I am not trying to give you a hard time here, honest. But
aren't you the one who advocates a minimum of government regulation?
Or do I have you mixed up with Gruss?

By the way, I have no particular agenda in terms of illegal aliens.
They are illegal for a start, which is cartainly a problem any way you
look at it. But I'd like to stay rooted in reality if possible. If
illegal aliens are getting government benefits, I am not sure how. One
of the big problems for my local emergency room is that if say a truck
full of illegal aliens flips over on the highway, UNMH is shock-trauma
for the entire state, and those illegal aliens don't have insurance
and are going back to Mexico once they are patched up, so it's a lot
of uncompensated care. However.

>From what I have seen and read, most illegal aliens, here anyway, seem
to be self-employed. If this is true it would seem they add value to
the economy if anything.
