Good luck! I was in much the same place 5 years ago and lost 50 lbs. I can tell you what ended up working for me and, while it might sound extreme, it isn't that bad and my whole taste and cravings have totally changed. (1.) Exercise. Hate it too, especially cardio so I do mostly weight lifting and add in brisk walks of the dog, lawn mowing, etc. I bought Hoist Half Cage and that gets rid of my excuse of not going to the gym. I also bought a Cybex ArcTrainer for cardio when I can stand it because it gave the me the fastest results for less time. Speaking of that, look into "HIT" and "HIIT" training - same w/o in 20 minutes as 1 hour of slow cardio (in the "fat burning" zone. (2.) Diet. M-F for breakfast and lunch I have an shake (Optimum nutrition's casein protein, 6 TBS of fresh ground flax seed, 2 TBS of walnut oil, mixed into green tea). With that each time I take 4 fish oil pills such as Flameout. For dinner I have a small piece of grilled meat. Sat is my woohoo day: anything I want, but in some moderation. Pizza, ice cream, whatever I had a craving for. Sunday it's back to high protein/high clean fats/low carb, but I usually cook. The theory here is that you "fat convert" your body by providing 60% of your calories from clean fats (olive oil, fish oil, walnut oil, etc). The balance is protein and 30g (not more or less) of carbs. Your body prefers carbs for fuel, but by limiting them and giving youself lots of fats your body will "fat convert" by becoming efficient at using fat for fuel; for example, eskimos. Once that happens you body starts looking to your stored fat for fuel when you eat in a calorie deficit. I tried a bazillion diets until I ran across this one and, in short, it just plain works and works fast. You have to find out what's right for you, of course, but more about this and everything else you need to know for success here: http://www.t-nation.com/readArticle.do?id=473067 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Check out the new features and enhancements in the latest product release - download the "What's New PDF" now http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/coldfusion/cf8_beta_whatsnew_052907.pdf Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:240748 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
