Those aren't business practices, although they work well in business, and all you've done with Iraq 2 is exactly what Bart Simpson did when said his dog minded him, "walk over there, sniff that other dog's butt, wander around ... good dog" The point is any project can be managed well whether the goal is profits or regime change and Iraq 2 was conceived like shit, run like shit, and so has resulted in shit. That doesn't mean we won't win the lottery somehow, but gambling isn't a way to run a project especially when people die. As to slippage, crappy companies although it good companies don't. I work at a Fortune 50 employer and we release on-time period or find new job. Do or do not, there is no try. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Create robust enterprise, web RIAs.
