So America spends WAY more, and the World benefits from that research
because our inventions benefit them.  That's what I thought.

Like what?  Where did MRIs come from?  Ultrasound?  State-of-art
X-ray?  Scopic surgery?  Advanced surgery techniques?  Transplants?

This is all funded by NIH you're saying?  Nobody makes any money on
these patents, then?  All of this intellectual property is simply
licensed from the government?

Boy, you better tell medical equipment manufacturers that because I
don't think they know.
