Just went in to adjust my contributions (lower them - I'd rather see my money go against my debt than get thrown into this market) and reorganize my investments in my retirement account (moved a good chunk to a fixed return fund). I did - more on hope than any real understanding - keep the lion's share in my companies own stock fund... we're in the crapper too but I honestly believe (hope!) that we'll pull out of this better than most (if not all) in our industry.
But still - I've lost nearly 30% of my retirement savings in the past three months. After working 15 years I've lost nearly a third in three months (numerologists can have some fun with that). I know I'm hardly alone and am thankful that I'm still working (survived the latest round of layoffs just last week) but... damn. I guess early retirement isn't an option.
