> It falls under the heading of "what can I do". When my parents ran out of things to take away, they employed the "sit in the corner and stare at the wall with no talking" technique. Grounding never really worked on me because I was content to sit in my room and read for days on end. Taking everything and reducing existence to quiet contemplation was usually enough to keep my brother and I in check. Without any outside stimulus (they would turn off the radio and TV when using this method) the minutes felt like hours. Oh, and if we ever took a punishment lightly, it would be severely increased until we recognized that they were in charge.
I'll disclaim this by saying I am not a parent, nor do I teach parenting classes, so take it with a grain of salt. -Justin ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:296448 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
