Well that is a stupid statement on its face. Several generations of
farmers would beg to disagree with you.

Sure thing. I like my hydro-power from the BPA. I like my clean water
through the City of Portland. Works marvelously. Clean, cheap,
efficient. My garbage collection with price controls and licensing
from the city comes and picks my trash up every week and does a fine
job with recycling. My cable/internet provider with franchising and
cost control through the county is kinda so-so but I've seen worse.

In some places, yes, in some places no.

Depends on the industry. I'm not an advocate for price controls
amongst all industries certainly. But as I listed, it works great in
