I have no particular comment on this story itself, but out of curiosity, do other people find it offensive when people wear the flag? I was taught, growing up, that the flag wasn't a symbol to be idly used and thrown away. I went through cub scouts and got taught how to properly fold a flag, keep it from dragging on the ground, not let a tattered and worn flag keep flying, give it a proper disposal when it got into a sorry state, etc. I've found it very weird as an adult to see all these people wearing flag clothing, putting on flag lapel pins, putting flag magnets on their car, etc. It just seems...cheap I guess. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology-Michael-Dinowitz/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:317606 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
