I work for a school district in Kansas. We've got some 'experts' in Topeka telling the state legislature that schools don't need money to operate and the idiots believed them for a while. They finally stopped making cuts but we're still operating on a pretty tight budget. A whole lot of districts had to close down completely after last year's cuts.
