Not really Kris, that meeting was a setup. The board had already
decided. If you looked at the rules for the invite, they were strongly
slanted towards ID. And quite rightly the scientists did not
participate.

First thing is that only science is to be taught in science classes,
not religion. ID is not science but creationism dressed up and with a
lot of makeup. Read the Dover, PA decision about ID.

The only reason why the standards lasted less than a year was because
those fundie asses were voted out of office.
