I think fascist is a better term than Nazi...

National Socialism did start off as a Socialist movement. That was
changed after Hitler took over the movement.

That said he moved the party to the extreme right, and had any who
disagreed executed.

In terms of Nazism's economic philosophy, it was very close to a lot
of what the current republican leadership and many in the Tea Party
advocate. I am not calling them Nazis, I am saying that the economic
approaches are very similar.
