"National Socialism did start off as a Socialist movement. That was changed
after Hitler took over the movement."

Socialism in Europe in the early 20th century was like the selection of
athletic shoes we have now. There was a flavor for everyone. There was
probably a dozen socialist parties in Germany during the 20's. They would
brawl in the street. The Nazi's won once they got the purple, I mean brown
shirts rolling.

"That said he moved the party to the extreme right, and had any who
disagreed executed."

True. So far to the right that it was a dictatorship.

"In terms of Nazism's economic philosophy, it was very close to a lot of
what the current republican leadership and many in the Tea Party advocate. I
am not calling them Nazis, I am saying that the economic approaches are very
similar."

Put the crack away. Hitler basically made Germany into a fascist economy,
dictating all aspects of production. Much closer to the Democratic
platform today.

Why do think Chevrolet released the Volt when it cannot compete with foreign
competitors in terms of price or performance?
