just checked my uptime on my mbp.  It's been up 17 days -- that's with my 
moving it between work and home.  It's put to sleep at least 3 times a day.  

My wife's Thinkpad will start acting wonky after 1 or two sleeps.  My standard 
answer of "reboot" always corrects the problem.
