Actually, the law states that if you appeal something on your report,
or report it as inaccurate, the credit bureau has 30 days to verify it
is correct or it has to remove it from your credit report. I have
gotten several things removed from my credit report over the years
because the credit reporting bureau was unable to verify the item in
question.
