I've referred to it as a cult for years and, as has been presented repeatedly, there is not a consensus. Far from it. As far as your other examples, the only one remotely close to this is evolution. While I have not used the "Cult of Evolution" in the past, I might take it up now. Thanks. I will say that, unlike man made global warming, both sides of the evolution argument seem to be cultish.
