Not sure what Rice did but she was never hard core conservative, always sort of a moderate. Too many Dems have turned on Obama but he still has the media, they have nobody else to turn to and they would never join the devil party. As for turning against Mitt, he was never loved by the conservatives, he's too moderate but anything is better than Obama.
