Just an fyi...Hatton said it better, but I already finnished (hehe). Having sex with a minor is a state issue here. West Virginia allows girls to marry at 16. Prostitution is legal in Nevada as well. I think the vast majority of criminal cases in the US are tried in state or local courts.... The individual states in the US are generally pretty powerful, but lack the money that the federal governent, so they generally do whatever Washinton says, marijuana being a currently subject of disagreement, the states want to decriminalize, the feds don't. States even have extradition agreements (there is a better term) for sending criminals to another state for prosecution there.
