Reminds me of my days working in the College Cafeteria, where I had to have to use a Pressure FRYER for the fried chicken.  I could just imagine the accidents if that thing decided to go boom.  My fight or flight instincts went off every time I closed that thing.

i picked a great old one up for 28 bucks at an antique mall...
it held 25 quarts..

28 bucks compared to 240 new...
i am now a little charred, could have been worse...

you do get what you pay for..
