according to income. The bottom line is, the court presumes there are
costs associated with having the child she will have to bear as well,
and the amount you pay is a percentage of the total costs proportionate
to how much she makes.

if my ex and I have 50/50 custody. then why do I have to pay child
support? I don't get it. She's
not paying me anything..... i can understand if she had full
custody.... but WTF??
