Absolutely. Certification in Cold Fusion (or any development platform)
requires far more knowledge and technical expertise than only knowing CFML.
Remember you are being certified for skills surrounding the entire platform,
including installation, troubleshooting, integration, configuration (basic
and advanced to include clustering, load balancing, etc) and anything else
that is core to being able to exploit all of the features of the CFAS.
BTW - this list is off the top of my head - I don't know anything about
what the actual tests will incorporate.

For CFML, check out www.ecertifications.com. They have a CF test that only
includes a few questions that are outside of CFML.

Allaire should create more than one level, something akin to MS's MCP
program. Not everyone needs to be an MCSE/MCDBA, etc, when MCP+I will
suffice to fill that person's needs. I'd like to see a "coder" level
certification as well as complete platform certification.
