Hey all...

We're currently using Access as our database (yeah, yeah, i know) :)

Question is this: Access itself (the Office application) does not have to
be on the server...for basic queries (select, insert, update, delete). But
in order to do table manipulation queries (add table, alter table, etc), it
does?

What are the advantages/disadvantages of having the Access application
itself on the server?

Thanks,
Charlie
