And I don't give them an answer, but they still let me buy the product. That's right, the clerk types in either the store Zip or his/her zip if forced to enter something, skewing the date. But an amazing number people just whip out their zip, phone number, etc without a single thought towards privacy, so it May not hurt to ask.
