1) The OLD program software was for demoing purposes only.  The NEW program
you can use it for development.

2) The listing on the site and the use of the MM logo on your site adds
credibility to you as a developer of CF a stuff

3) There are all kinds of marketing materials etc. that you can grab from
the partners only section which you can use to sell CF to your potential
clients.  There are PowerPoint presentations, white papers etc. that can
help convince them that CF rules the world ;-)

So you can pay $800 a year for a $5000 CF Server 5 Enterprise and get those
benefits or not...it's your choice.

Now...don't get me wrong..the merger pains suck right now.  There doesn't
seem to be any clear pattern to what's going on and communications have ben
vague at best.  I'd say given some time things should straighten themselves
out.  Personally I think the $300 price hike is a bit much, but time are
hard and I'm sure MM is grabbing a few extra bucks where ever they can.

All in all it's worth the money even if all you use is the copy of CF Server
5 you get.....1 contract should make your ROI.  If not then you're doing
REALLY small projects or you should charge more ;-)
