I have a 1406 on my '69 Chevelle with no problems over the past two years. I actually bolted it on and have not adjusted it yet. It runs fine right out of the box. After I fine tune it, I expect it will run even better.

We are converting from a 2 barrel to a 4 barrel carb on my sons 66 Malibu.  327 engine, automatic transmission.  (We will be changing the ignition system later).
 
Any recommendations?
