Wisconsin has similar plates available. At least a couple of different
types - Collectors or Antique, maybe more. Non-expiring, one-time fee, etc.
I think they are not valid in January...certainly not a problem with most of
our cars! I did use my convertible in a Winterfest parade one time, and had
no problems with anybody. And once a plate is issued, the number is mine and
I can put other cars on the same number series, but with a new plate with a
suffix of "B", "C", or something. And that fee is cheaper than the original.
A good deal for those fortunate to have more than one 'investment' car. I
haven't checked into that second registration yet, but will when 'my wife's'
'66 SS hardtop is done!
