I actually live in San Antonio. I have a '67 Chevelle
SS. Bought original '67 plates ($35 at a swap meet) for it and
registered it that way. If you register the car as an antique you don't
need to get it inspected and it only costs around 60 buck for 5 years.
There is a mileage limit on that though (I believe it's around 1500 a year or
so). If you register it as a "classic" you have unlimited mileage, but
will need to get the car inspected every year.
