Comment #29 on issue 3126 by kuch...@chromium.org: Open link in live messenger will launch chrome.exe but chrome window cannot show http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=3126 Interesting.. look like we are launching renderer for the first clicked link but are failing to show the window. And when the second renderer launches, both tabs show up. This very well might be a bug but until we can reproduce it locally I am not sure what we can do. I am unassigning this from me. If possible you can check two more things for us that might help in debugging this later: - What happens if you click links in any other application? Do they open fine or do you see the same behavior of Chrome window showing up only when link is clicked for the second time? - If you have procexp.exe (or you can download it from microsoft - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx), you can see the command line of chrome.exe processes running when you click on the first link. To do that right click on Procexp.exe columns, click "Select Columns" and then select "Command line" from "Process Image" tab. After you click the first link there should be two chrome.exes (or may be only one?) running. If possible please post the full command line for both. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
