I'm the developer of Bubble Translate, page actions not work for me, I need the option to hide the Icon if the user don't want translate clicking the Icon and want use only a shortcut.
I thought of using FILE IO to use or not BrowserAction changing the manifest but not is a good idea. Maybe in the future, having the option is a must. -v1c1ous On Oct 23, 5:26 pm, Finnur Thorarinsson <fin...@chromium.org> wrote: > No. We currently don't have plans to allow you to hide BrowserAction icons. > > If you have an action that only shows up on some pages, you should use page > actions, which support showing and hiding your icon at will. > For actions that show on most/all pages, you should use a browser action > and, if needed, gray out the icon or something to indicate that the action > is not enabled. > > > > On Fri, Oct 23, 2009 at 12:17, v1c1ous <v1c1ous...@gmail.com> wrote: > > > I want to add an option to show or not the BrowserAction Icon in the > > browser content. > > > Has an option in API or proposal in setIcon for that? > > > -v1c1ous --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chromium-extensions" group.
