As a side note, it seems that Juniper's success seems to lie within their
ASICS.  I'm not positive, but I believe this offloads cpu cycles from the
core processor to each ports ASIC, kind of like high Cisco's high end
switches work.  Like the cat5k for example.  I believe Cisco's higher end
routers have the option of VIP cards to accomplish something similar..but
with Juniper every interface has it standard.

Juniper doesn't have CCO..it does have decent online docs..but I think you
have to be a customer and have a login to the website.  However.. CCO has
docs on technologies as well as equipment configuration.

It seems that the only thing pushing Juniper's products are high bandwidth
backplanes and their ASICS.  Not to say this isn't a big deal.. but I can
see Cisco coming out with some better products within the next year.

I am rather found of JunOS..as Its basically based on gated, which i was
using years before Cisco equipment.
