But WAN switching, DSL, and dial do not equate to large scale IP
routing. Different disciplines. For that matter, Juniper does not
have products in the WAN switching, DSL, and dial spaces.
One industry trend is to have DSL and dial services wholesaled to
ISPs, so there may not be as many jobs dealing with these. In the
longer term, most of what we see today as WAN switching will evolve
to MPLS and possibly direct photonic networks, but these, at a higher
level, are controlled by IP.
