I'm not sure this is correct.  Once the default route gets redistributed
into EIGRP it attains the AD of the routing protocol.  Administrative
Distances are only locally significant and are not propogated to other
routers.  So if the static default route points to an IP address for the
next hop on the originating router and if another router learns this
redistributed default route in EIGRP it would use the AD of External EIGRP
170.  However, if the static default route points to a local interface then
EIGRP will redistribute it as a connected interface (internal EIGRP, AD 90).
