group. I am so appreciative that you have contacted us and truly hope you
don't sign off forever.
Would certainly like to encourage you while you are battling the blast phase
and after that. Whoa!!! Blast phase is so serious, and so sorry you have gone
through this. What medicine are you on, and is it bringing the numbers down?
I am on bosutinib now, as the other meds have caused me brain bleeds and a
stroke. I'm praying this one works! Numbers are going down...please give us
another try..

Hi Maria, Sorry I was on vacation for about 1 month and we have been dealing
with the death of a dear friend on this group. I don't remember getting an
email from you but if you would like to stay you are very welcome.
I have been fighting CML for 10 years now, and some on this list have been
fighting a lot longer.
I am on Sprycel after failing on Gleevec and Tasigna.

I'm sorry that your having such difficulty trying to unsubscribe from
our group. Personally, I do not know how to either, and you are
correct we are basically a closed group of people that are here to
help each-other through our disease.
Frankly, I'm surprised that you are even receiving any of our posts
because in order to do that you must have signed up at some time to
begin with.
If you don't want to receive or read any of our posts then in the
meantime might I suggest simply hitting the deleate button on your
keyboard any time that you receive any messages from us.

On a good note, I had a good report last doctor's visit. BCR-ABL came
back "none detected" once again. I had a little dance! :)
Course, I think the rest of my body is falling apart. LOL! Isn't that the
way it happens once we get past a certain age. I can barely walk and get
around. My left hip and leg gives me a lot of problems. I take a step,
pain hits me in the back of the thigh, then leg weakens and I almost go
down. So, I use an ol' antique cane here in the house or walking around
outside, just to be on the safe side. I'm thinking that I need to go back
to the Pain specialist I saw a year ago and he'll do another injection.
He
was wanting to "burn" those nerves on that side and I just kind of balked
at that. Not sure I want to go through that. Might have to, though.
