Hi!

I've started rebuilding packages on my alpha. I used my
stock RedHat 6.0 + errata's on my alpha to do the job.

Of the 632 packages 498 compiled OK and 134 had some
problem. I classified the "problem" packages in the
following categories:

Architecture_is_not_included: 23
File_contains_non-printabable_characters: 15
common: 96

The packages included in "Architecture is not included"
are packages that a specific for intel machine, like
dosemu and Wine.

The packages in "File_contains_non-printabable_characters"
can probably be compiled, when I install a later version
of RPM.

The packages in "common" have problems resulting from
compilation errors, or dependancy errors (I'm going to
look at that).

To start with, I don't think it's a bad score. My goal
is to see how far I can come, and if I can eventually get
the Mandrake distribution running on my alpha.

Here's a list of the packages that went "OK" and had
a "problem"... I've also saved the build results, so
if anybody wants to see why things went wrong then let
me know... Tips on how to better do things (automated
build scripts, anybody??) are welcome...
