Okay here are the problems I've had with 7.1b. 1) I have BP6 with the Highpoint ATA 66 controller. The Install see's the Controller fine but doesn't recognize the drive so I couldn't install using it. I had to use the ATA 33 controller to install. 2) The system would lock up when formating the partitions. (because of this I had to try upgrading a different box) 3) Although it you say there is ReiserFS support, you can't tell the installer to use ReiserFS instead of ext2. I guess my question is what's the point? Personally I'd like have the option to use ReiserFS out of the box on a new install. 4) xinit seems to look for /etc/X11/X instead of /usr/bin/X11R6/bin/X is this normal? 5) why does it say its installing LILO but install grub?
