Don't forget the meat will cook more after it is in the sauce.

Subject: [CnD] Cooking Ground Beef
Hi all. Sorry I've not been active on here for a good while now. My
BrailleNote's been getting its battery replaced, and I'm forced to use
Outlook on my laptop. It's not hard, exactly, but not easy either.
Anyway, here's something my dad taught me when cooking ground beef.
I'm not sure if this same trick would work with turkey, but maybe. He
breaks
up the meat, then he adds a quarter to half a cup of water. It seems to
help
the meat not clump so easily. You still have to stir, flip, and otherwise
move the meat around to help ensure even cooking, but it seems to be
easier
using this method. It also makes draining easier, since the grease is
sorta
mixed with the water. You probably get rid of more of the grease this way.
Probably makes the meat healthier to eat.
Hope this helps everyone out there.
