----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- I am not a police officer and never had the desire to become one. I would like to add to the comment that our liberal news media appears to side with the criminal. A case in point is the recent carjacking incident in Philadelphia. The woman was pulled out of her car at gunpoint and thrown to the ground. The police gave chase and the carjacker fired at a police officer and hit him in the arm. (This portion was NOT shown on TV) The police caugh up with the guy and about four police officers beat him into submission (They should have shot the bastard) The TV news helicopter showed this segment and a lawyer is now sueing the city for police brutality. He is pleading that his client was using drugs at the time and should be place in drug rehab. My question is this; "How can criminals be apprehended when we tie the police officer's hands behind their backs and when lawyers take cases where the client refuses to accept responsibility for their own actions? (ie: Simpson vs. Simpson)" Today, the criminal is KING and the police are the bad guys. That has to turn around. George Frebert
