No one ever claimed a catholic who was open about his or her faith was "prideful" and "arrogant". I am defined by scripture, which is final authority on what a Christain is. Catholicism itself admits it defines itself by its tradition. The introduction to the new american bible (i believe thats one of the modern catholic bibles)says the catholic church derives ALL her teaching from tradition. A Christian is defined by the scripture, whether a person believes the scripture to be authoritative or not. I dont belive the Koran or the Hadith to be authoritative, but i believe muslims get their definition of a muslim from the koran and the hadith. db, The scripture is a history yes, but the gospel was preached in abraham, before there was a law, a judaism,before Jesus was here, before babylonian catholicism, roman catholicism, or a new world order. I know alot of people who were raised as catholics and grew up to try to forget everything "christian" which never was christian to begin with. I hope things change someday.
